Very friendly service, the food was prepared incredibly quickly, even though the owner and his son cook and serve everything themselves. We were even able to get a table at short notice, even though he was about to close.

OUR SAVIOR!
The owner gave us a very warm welcome. He reopened the kitchen just for us because we were starving... can you believe it?
He manages the kitchen and the dining room all by himself like a pro.
I highly recommend it; don't hesitate to make the detour to Chatel during your trek or trip.

Everything was a delight! We commend the waiter for his dedication in managing everything single-handedly and in such a relaxed manner. We were taken care of immediately, served promptly, and even learned the story behind the traditional Berthoud, which I highly recommend. The 5 stars are well deserved for the food, service, and atmosphere. Moreover, the prices are reasonable. Bravo! 👏🏼

Good food, I recommend the delicious fondue.
However, the prices, like everywhere else in the resort, are high. Book well in advance, otherwise it's impossible to get a reservation during peak season.

Excellent in every way. The restaurant is run by a single person who does everything from start to finish. That alone deserves 5 stars. Furthermore, the dishes are delicious, generous, and served quickly. Prices are average for Chatel. The manager is very friendly, and if you enjoy video games, you can have some great conversations at the end of your meal. I recommend it 100%. However, be aware that the restaurant is small (it's quiet and you can actually hear each other talk, which is fantastic), and reservations aren't possible, so arrive early after opening time.
