La MEIJETTE sur La Grave

From the two Alps, I went to admire it a few times I love it ❤️👻👻👏👏💥

Take the cable car up in a kind of train in nostalgic boxes. At the middle station you can take a walk and look around. At the top there is a restaurant where you can also pay by card. There is pizza etc. for sale. Toilet is without water. There is an ice cave with ice sculptures. You can buy a ticket downstairs at the elevator. We attended the first open day of the lifts in June. There was still a lot of snow. The snow cave was fun to see different sculptures and lighting. The walk there. Climbing back up was a job. Be careful when buying a ticket. You have tickets to the middle station and the end station. And whether or not to return and whether or not to visit an ice cave.

One of the most beautiful mountains in France. Several trails to climb this massif. I recommend staying at La Grave to make the most of the place!

Incredible experience, highly recommended. Do not miss the ice cave. The restaurant at 3200m is really good and the prices are fair.

Skiing in winter. In the summer: fun outing for young and old, sporty or not. If you do everything, you'll be busy for a day. Inquire in advance about options and prices. Dog could come along. Impressive ride up, at the mountain station you can stand on the glacier and visit an ice cave with ice sculptures. This slides with the glacier, 25 meters per year, and is 'excavated' again in the spring. At the middle station there is a picnic spot, a playground, and a difficult walk to a lake with a refuge. Tough cyclists with helmets race down the mountain. Bring your own bicycle. -Note: don't miss the last descent into the valley (late afternoon), otherwise you can walk for a few hours! -Parking free -Toilets at the stations -Pay for food and drinks in cash at the top station. Beautiful views on all sides.

Great place. If you go as a family...the price to go to the top on the cable car (just over 3,200 meters high) is €75. If you decide to enter the cave carved into the glacier...bring warm clothing, yes or yes.

Superbe terrasse avec vue sur la mère, accueil sympathique, et surtout tarte norvégienne succulente! Bref un 4h bien agréable après une randonnée.
