Stopped for lunch on a busy Saturday afternoon, luckily a table was available. We were on route to Geneva, so looking for a good lunch stop. Lots of locals enjoying a long family lunch. The restaurant is comfortable, with homely decor. An extensive menu of local dishes. We decided on the €28 main and dessert. We chose a slow braised beef dish with vegetables.The other main course was veal stuffed with chestnuts and sweet potato mash. The flavours were good and hearty. For dessert we chose a crème brûlée and chestnut cream with chocolate cake. Both were homemade, sweet and delicious. The staff were very friendly, offering us menus in English. We were so pleased we’d managed to eat at this local restaurant a very enjoyable lunch. I would highly recommend.

Excellent cuisine prepared with local ingredients. It's varied and very refined. The prices are very reasonable. Well done!

Last-minute booking, a great table in a prime location, cozy atmosphere, and a very pleasant and professional waitress

A warm and welcoming establishment, perfect for a pleasant lunch or dinner. Regarding the meal, the egg cocotte starter was excellent. The main course was pike-perch fillet with winter vegetables. While the fish and vegetables were cooked beautifully, the dish lacked warmth (it was lukewarm). The French toast for dessert was dry and more like a cracker. Nevertheless, a second visit is definitely in order to try the pot-au-feu and crème brûlée, which were highly praised by my companions.
