The setting is magnificent, the atmosphere warm and inviting, and the service truly top-notch: welcoming, friendly, and very attentive from beginning to end. The dishes were delicious, beautifully presented, and made with high-quality ingredients. You can feel the attention to detail, both on the plate and in the overall experience. A truly wonderful place that I wholeheartedly recommend if you're visiting Chamonix. We will definitely be back!

Went there for dinner and ordered the cheese fondue, the hot stone with duck, chicken, and beef, and we had the escargot and onion soup. Everything was perfect and the staff were super friendly and the place was so cozy! I recommend to make a reservation prior to ensure you find a place!

Such a lovely little restaurant with incredible food and wonderfully welcoming staff. We had never tried snails before, but these completely won us over. Tender, full of flavour, and served with a delicious homemade sauce that was impossible not to finish. The fondue was also outstanding, possibly one of the best we’ve ever had. Cosy atmosphere, great quality, and a place we’d happily return to.

I was so happy with my visit, the fondue was delicious!! My friend accidentally ordered the small vacherin without realizing it was cheese, but the waiter was very kind and offered a small platter of charcuterie to make up for it. Thank you to the waiter! ☺️

02/02/2026: Lunch at 3:30 pm near the Montenvers exit. The waitress was very pleasant and friendly, the service was quick, and the dishes were simple but very good! (Cheeseburger and chicken wok). You can go there without hesitation, a place to remember! 👌🏻

25/02/2026: Superb hotel located in the center of Chamonix, opposite the pedestrian street. It also has a spa, a ski shop, and ski lockers. Thanks to the team, we had a wonderful stay!
23/02/2026: We had a fantastic stay at Le Prieuré; the hotel feels very homely and intimate, despite being able to accommodate quite a lot of guests. It has a lovely bar and lobby, the staff were all wonderful and unfailingly kind and helpful; the restaurant is very good and the breakfast is the best hotel breakfast I've ever had. There's also a very good onsite ski shop, a fantastic heated ski and boot room with lots of lockers, and the location is very good too - it's an easy walk to the bus stops, train station, and lots of shops and restaurants, and even one of the cable cars, if you don't mind a short uphill hike. Oh, and there's a lovely spa too, with excellent facilities and treatments, though do be sure to reserve some slots when you arrive, as it does get booked up. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back!
