We chose this restaurant via the Le bonbon website which refers to it as an original, cozy and romantic place and it met our expectations.
Good value for money.
The cuisine is brasserie style but a bit more elaborate and nicely presented.

So this restaurant is beyond it's a whole atmosphere and decor down to the smallest detail
All the objects have been tastefully found and the smallest details are sought after.
The dishes are very good and the cuisine shows creativity.

The service and the setting saved our moment PERFECT service (pleasant, friendly, smiling, attentive....)
Is this the 2nd service experience?
A disappointment on the plate: fatty, tasteless.
Having to ask for pepper so I have pepper sauce seems crazy to me. (I like the taste of pepper, I'm not looking for the spicy side at all.)
A well-cooked quenelle but the sauce is as oily as can be and the cream is clotted due to poor preparation.
The starters (salmon and Comté ravioli) are good!
The Saint Marcelin in the oven... Yes, just hot, the fat came out well, we were expecting a slightly gratinated cheese (baked in the oven!)
In short, don't go there for your taste buds but for your eyes and the service.

The restaurant is nicely decorated, the servers are very pleasant and professional, however I found that the budget was a little high for what is offered. The flavors were not necessarily there compared to the prices applied

The food here is good, but not exceptional. The real reason to come here is the unique and quirky atmosphere. The decor is a whimsical mosaic of antique furniture and knick-nacks displayed in fun and creative ways, the centerpiece of which is an old bathtub converted into a fish pond. Service was friendly and attentive.

We went to La Nef Des Fous for my wife's birthday, and we both had a really enjoyable time. We were sitting down in the cave, where it had a very cosy and intimate atmosphere. Both staff were very busy, but very attentive. The food was delicious, we had the ravioli and smoked salmon to start, the beef bourguignon and quenelles as mains and chocolate mousse as dessert. Highly recommend paying the place a visit if you're in Lyon.

Reservado por teléfono el día anterior, aconsejado ya que estaba totalmente reservado en la noche. Buena comida y buen aperitivo. Ambiente acogedor e íntimo, con decoración ecléctica. 2 sesiones por noche, la cocina y el personal de camareros manejaron bien el número de comensales
The place is furnished in a very particular way, waiters are friendly and choices are vary but a bit limited.
I recommend it for a different experience.
