Veal's head should be avoided, just fat on my plate. The rest was delicious.

Discovered during the weekend of the Beaume wine sale at the Hospices, a special menu was offered. The dishes were fine and tasty, we enjoyed ourselves. The staff is very pleasant, the service impeccable.

Simply incredible! Nothing to complain about, a beautiful atmosphere as we like them. Everything is perfect, from the warm welcome, to the careful discreet service, always a good word but with the necessary restraint. And the cuisine...divine. We had a blanquette of veal. And desserts (homemade cinnamon and baba rum) are just as delicious. I highly recommend both for the welcome, the atmosphere, and for the taste discovery.

We enjoyed ourselves from start to finish. The starter/main course/dessert menu is incredible value for money. I particularly recommend the Iberian pork and the fine apple tart. And we had a great evening thanks to Noël (the person from the establishment who accompanied us during this time). We will come back with pleasure.

Very friendly service, with very tasty dishes. The wine list is a thick book, difficult to make a choice between all those wines :-)

We were looking for somewhere to eat and found this restaurant. It had some people outside eating and one spare table so we walked in to see if we could eat here. We found that inside there was a lovely air conditioned conservatory area with ample spare tables. We were greeted by a fantastic young man whose name we found out was Noel. He made our night. He was so friendly he made jokes and chatted to us as he walked past. He helped us decipher the menu as it was only available in French and he could speak excellent English. He helped us pick a fantastic local red wine as the one I opted for had sold out. He recommended a second choice and it didn’t disappoint. The meal I thought was first class. We opted for the three course €40 option. I had eggs and asparagus to start with followed by beef Bourguignon and to finish a wonderful zesty lemon tart. The food was outstanding, very high quality and cooked perfectly. The wine menu was vast. There were lots to choose from all set out in the wine list by region. So if you had a favourite you could find it All the staff were all lovely and the setting was perfect. I don’t understand the bad reviews. I am going to return to this region and I will be going back here for sure. I would highly recommend giving this restaurant a try

Walking by during the evening and looked at the fixed price menu for 3 courses. At €40 pp we thought the menu options looked varied and good for value. We were unsure if we needed a reservation, however as soon as we walked in we were greeted by Noel who made us feel welcome immediately. We hadn’t realised from the front of the place that there was a nice courtyard at the back and where Noel told us to chose a table. The menu was in French (of course) but Noel did his upmost best to translate for us. We were not disappointed with the food or the wine we selected. Every course was delicious, and the wine too. At the end of our meal we were given the bill and immediately we knew they hadn’t charged us enough & had missed an entire €40 from our overall bill. The staff were grateful for our honesty, and we would have never walked away without paying for the beautiful food we had really enjoyed. Seriously fresh tasty ingredients, with the friendliest staff. Thank you to all at the restaurant that made our 1 night stay in Beaune an experience we will never forget. Highly recommended.
