I've had several meals at L'Antre Potes and have never been disappointed by the taste. Everything is fresh, the vegetables are cooked perfectly, and the meats are excellent too... A sure bet for a meal in Le Bugue. Sometimes there's a wait, but it's reasonable. The owner is always welcoming. I recommend it 😉

The best restaurant in the village! Proof that you shouldn't limit yourself to the main village square! Just cross the bridge and you'll find it. The perfect restaurant to cap off a beautiful day in this wonderful corner of the Dordogne. Perfect cuisine (even for vegetarians), impeccable service, a very pleasant terrace, and a fantastic owner! We'll be back, that's a promise! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Good value for money with a daily special at €13. The only downside is serving jarred asparagus during peak season; it would be better to refrain from doing so or at least mention it. It's a real shame... The carbonnade, however, was very good; that was excellent. It was very cold inside (not much different from outside). The service was good and quick. At lunchtime, there's no menu, only a set menu (choice of two starters, one main course, and two desserts).

A friendly place with a warm welcome and quality service. Despite a few unavailable dishes, the food was still good. 🙂

One star for the location + two stars for the food. It's nothing to write home about, but it's decent; neither disappointed nor pleasantly surprised. However, the service is deplorable and unpleasant. After a five-minute wait in the entrance, even though the restaurant was practically empty, and a fifteen-minute wait at our table without a menu, he came to take our order, saying, "Don't sulk, I'm here." We weren't sulking, we were just waiting for the menu. Anyway. We asked for the menu, we chose our order, only to be told in the end that we couldn't order what we wanted because they weren't offering it at the moment. Sorry, but that's usually announced when you give them the menu. We ignored it; we were on vacation. When it came time to pay, we were met with a verbal tirade about the "meal voucher mafia" when we asked if they accepted restaurant vouchers, which my husband quickly put an end to, thank goodness.
