The owner is friendly, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating. We arrived late as a group, just as the restaurant was about to close, but he welcomed us and prepared a table for us. I've been back several times for the cordon bleu burger, a little evening treat (when you get a bit peckish 😉👌). Absolutely fantastic, keep up the great work!

02/04/2026: In the heart of Charlieu, near the abbey, don't be put off by the unassuming storefront. The interior is pleasant and welcoming (with the option of an outdoor terrace at the back of the restaurant). Several set menus are available. We chose the "relaxed menu," and everything was truly delicious and generously portioned, from the appetizer to the dessert. The service was efficient and prompt. The restrooms were spacious and very clean (my bonus for the end, which sometimes spoils the experience... not here at all). I highly recommend it.
01/04/2026: Nice decor, the food is very good, however the portions are unfortunately very small...
