Located very close to the Château, we chose this restaurant for a quiet evening and we weren't disappointed.
We had a very good meal. We ordered the duck breast and chocolate profiteroles for dessert; it was really delicious and well-prepared.
The service was friendly and welcoming. We also appreciated how quiet the restaurant was, perfect for a relaxed conversation without any background noise.
A great place to eat in Amboise. Remember to book ahead to be sure of getting a table.

A pleasant evening meal but not outstanding. Our flank steaks had a curious stewed sweet onion coating that detracted from the flavour with it's slightly slimy texture. The ambiance was good though and the restaurant soon filled up so booking is advised, even on a damp Monday in February.

We received a very warm welcome, with a team eager to answer all our questions in detail (origin of the dishes, etc.). The dishes were delicious, well-balanced, and served in appropriate portions: a wonderful discovery that I highly recommend, and I will definitely be back.

We discovered this restaurant thanks to Google Maps; the reviews were good. We decided to make a reservation because it was December 31st. We were lucky enough to be passing by at 10:00 AM when someone opened the security gate. They took our reservation for four. We were glad we did because by 12:30 PM the restaurant was full.
We ordered the set menu for €20, which included a starter, main course, and dessert, with two choices for each course. The menu was generous, the service was friendly, and we didn't even need to ask for bread. The children's menu was a bit pricey at €14 for a main course, dessert, and a drink.
The only downside was that there was only one toilet for the entire restaurant.
I recommend it!

Simply perfect. Efficient and incredibly friendly service. Delicious food. Warm atmosphere in a superb setting. €20 set menu (starter, main course, dessert): unbeatable. Bravo!

We discovered this restaurant and it was a real pleasure to spend an evening there. The welcome and service were pleasant, the dishes were perfect, and the wait between courses was quite reasonable (I should mention that the restaurant was almost full 😉).
We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant ☺️
