Delicious and lovely atmosphere, we loved the trout and traditional soup with duck, beans and vegetables. People working at the restaurant are very kind and we felt very welcomed. Merci!

Intrigued by the regional dish, we ordered La Garbure, a traditional dish made with cabbage, vegetables, and meat. It was extremely tasty and excellent after a lovely hike to Lake D'Estom. The staff were friendly, and the house dessert was worth trying again.

Fantastic service and delicious food. We brought our dog, who was treated just as well. 100% recommended, we'll definitely be back!

This was definitely our best meal in Cauterets. I had a wonderful trout and my partner had vegetable stew that was also delicious. Service was friendly and prompt. The house wine was also very good. For dessert we had Basque Gateaux which we shared and really enjoyed. Thank you for a great experience and hope to see you again.

A must-visit in Cauterets! We booked a table for three (two adults and our seven-year-old son) at La Sierra restaurant on Thursday, June 4, 2025, and what a wonderful discovery it was! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Laetitia and her husband. They are exceptionally kind, courageous, passionate about their work, and always attentive to their customers. You can immediately tell they put their heart and soul into their establishment. As for the food, it was a true journey to the heart of the Pyrenees. The garbure (a hearty vegetable and meat stew) was simply exceptional: generous, authentic, flavorful, prepared with quality ingredients and a skill that shines through in every spoonful. Traditional cuisine like we wish we could find more often, full of soul and character. The homemade chocolate mousse also deserves a special mention: light, indulgent, perfectly balanced, a true delight that brought this meal to a beautiful close. We had a warm, friendly, and genuine experience in a pleasant setting where we felt right at home. Our son was also very well received, which made the experience even more enjoyable. A huge thank you to Laetitia and her husband for their hospitality, dedication, and excellent cuisine. We leave with wonderful memories and will definitely return on our next visit to Cauterets.
