La Table du Chef offers good cuisine overall, featuring regional products and expertly prepared dishes. While some of the flavors were excellent, the overall experience didn't quite reach the level of a truly top-tier restaurant. The service was very friendly, quick, and professional, and the atmosphere was pleasant. Overall, it's a good restaurant in Cannes, but compared to the city's best establishments, it lacks that certain something.

The food isn't bad, but considering the price, one expects better. It all lacks finesse and, above all, subtle flavors. The sauces and jus give the impression of being "pre-made" rather than the result of culinary shortcuts. Furthermore, while the surprise menu offers a nice touch of spice, it would be wise to know what's on it beforehand so you can choose your wines accordingly… unless you're expertly advised by a knowledgeable server (which isn't the case, especially when that same server tells you they don't drink wine 🤔). In conclusion, it's okay, but nothing more. There are definitely better options for the same price.

The food was good but not exceptional... lacking subtlety. Compared to Bistrot des Anges for a similar price... there's no comparison. The service was average: it was difficult to choose wines without knowing the dishes... when you ask the waiter for advice, the response is: "I don't drink wine." When you ask for a fairly light red to go with the meal, the response is: "We have Côtes du Rhône wines..." There are better options for a light red.

A truly wonderful discovery in this fabulous city. The welcome was perfect. We dined blind, without knowing what was on the menu. A truly wonderful experience! From the appetizer to the dessert. Highly recommended!

The menu was excellent, kudos to the chef! However, the service was very attentive, even rushed; we were barely finished before being served the next course. We just wanted to enjoy ourselves without feeling rushed. Thanks anyway.

There's only one set menu (4 courses), costing €69. The food is fantastic, the service very friendly, the atmosphere pleasant, and the prices more than fair. Simply a wonderful evening. We'll definitely be back!

27/09/2026: When the terrace is full at lunchtime, two servers are a bit understaffed. As a result, you have to wait a little too long to ask for salt or order more wine. The pasta vongole and tagliatelle were perfectly al dente. The sauce was tasteless. The shrimp risotto was also rather bland. The service was very attentive and friendly.

13/09/2026: Disappointing after Mademoiselle Grey! No amuse-bouche with the cocktails, No bread! Nothing! Nada! The wine list doesn't indicate which wines are organic, and the waiter doesn't know anything about them… he's helpful, though, and runs to the kitchen to find out, take a picture of the bottle and the organic logo, and bring back a glass! Hats off to him! Because it seems the waiters are constantly on the go and doing everything they can to do well, but the management isn't up to the task for such a place: their equipment doesn't seem suitable for the services offered (fish filleting, lobster preparation, flambéing, etc.), they never know where to bring their wine or their food: we see dedicated and willing waiters around us with wobbly service tables, not big enough to hold the plates, etc. In short: quite a spectacle, but a sad one for the employees… As for the food? My rack of lamb was inedible, very fatty, and completely undercooked. And the fries? Barely cooked, a disaster… and any side dish is extra! Avoid the desserts! Mine was so disappointing! From Thiriet? A scoop of iced chocolate with praline mousse… and two small ones on the side! And so sweet! … Ugh, no pastry flavor whatsoever, no dessert worthy of this establishment. I shared some feedback with the cashier, asking about our satisfaction… all to encourage you to improve! I hope you'll make progress to raise the bar: your establishment should be a shining example of French excellence! I'm counting on you! Best of luck!
