Excellent food and service. I recommend this restaurant

A wonderful experience at La Table du Chef in Cannes. The setting is intimate and welcoming, and the service is attentive from beginning to end. We particularly enjoyed the main course, a perfectly cooked fish fillet accompanied by a delicate sauce and beautifully prepared seasonal vegetables. The flavors were balanced and the presentation was elegant. An excellent restaurant that I highly recommend for a quality meal.

I really nice restaurant that serves great tasting food and a fair value for money. The service was good and the chef himself dropped by several times to make sure everything was as it should be. I can recommend the place.

Such a gem in Cannes. The food is wonderful. It's a surprise fixed price four course menu. They can cater for dietary requirements with adequate notice. The food is delicious and beautifully presented and the portion sizes are just right. This time I took a large group. The restaurant were super helpful from the moment I booked, communicating responsively to my many questions! The evening was a huge success and all my guests enjoyed the food and the atmosphere, and the excellent service. Thanks guys, see you next year!

Food was descended (but not exceptional) overpriced

Nice concept with a €69 surprise menu where you get multiple courses and essentially rely entirely on the chef. The food was refined, beautifully balanced, and generally just very tasty. We certainly had a great meal tonight. However, we ultimately end up with around 4 stars rather than the 4.6 the restaurant currently has on Google. For us, that is mainly due to the service and the overall experience. The service was friendly, but lacked warmth, attention, and personality. For example, hardly any eye contact was made when explaining the dishes, which came across as somewhat distant and awkward. Additionally, there were several small things that were overlooked: empty water glasses that went unnoticed for a long time, a missing fork that was only noticed after the main course was served when we had to ask for it ourselves—details like that. Not a disaster, of course, but when you end up paying around €180 for dinner and 2 drinks each for two people, you expect just a little more attention and finesse in the service. So: did we have a good meal? Absolutely. Would I come back? Probably. However, for us, the wow factor and personal touch you expect in this price range and score were somewhat lacking.

La Table du Chef was so good. Every dish was amazing, the service was great and the dinner was one of our best experiences in Cannes. We will definitely come back when we are in Cannes again. Truly a hidden gem.

An absolutely outstanding dining experience in Cannes. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The staff made us feel comfortable throughout the entire evening and paid attention to every detail. The food was exceptional — beautifully presented, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared with high-quality ingredients and real creativity. You can truly feel the passion behind the cuisine. The atmosphere was cozy, elegant, and intimate, making it the perfect place for a relaxed and memorable dinner. One of those rare restaurants where everything comes together perfectly: food, ambiance, and service. Easily one of the best restaurants we visited in Cannes, and definitely a place we would return to.
