The setting is remarkable and we enjoyed our lunch. Two points of disappointment: it was far too cold in the dining room and the price of the estate's wines was very disappointing (a white wine costing €40 in the shop was billed at €115 in the restaurant).

I think this is truly the best, or one of the top three restaurants in Bordeaux. Everything is perfect, from the welcome and service to the delicious, expertly prepared dishes. There's really nothing to criticize. Bravo to the whole team! Thank you, keep up the good work! We come back from time to time and we love it!

The setting and surroundings charmed us, and the location is undeniably pleasant (close to the castle for visiting).
However, the dining experience left us wanting more. The dishes lacked depth and originality, remaining very traditional, which explains our disappointment.
The value for money also surprised us, as the prices seemed excessive given the quality of the service.

During our first visit, a booking error unfortunately prevented us from having lunch as a family due to lack of space. The restaurant was kind enough to contact us again, and we finally returned for lunch today. It was perfect! The setting was beautiful, the staff professional, and above all, the meal was sophisticated and delicious. Thank you for this wonderful experience at La Table du Lavoir!

We were disappointed for the first time. The €50 set menu didn't offer any extraordinary dishes. The chicken supreme with mashed potatoes didn't justify the price. The dessert, a Paris-Brest that was certainly very good, but very simple, not even a modern twist. It's a shame. However, the setting and service remained impeccable. Well done to your front-of-house staff. We had a pleasant time, but were less convinced by the food this time.

The setting of the establishment is very pleasant, with magnificent buildings that would appeal to carpenters... we were rather disappointed, even though the quality of the food was excellent, by the value for money. The staff was pleasant, but at this price point, we would have appreciated, for example, a minimum of accompaniment with the rib of beef (a small sauce, a little coarse salt, for example) rather than the pieces of rib simply lined up on a plain white plate without any garnish. Similarly, the veal served with three small salsify was a bit meager... the desserts were excellent.

Lovely establishment. However, there was a lack of staff, as evidenced by the wait for our meals. Our main course, a veal steak, consisted of three small pieces on the plate and was slightly overcooked. Our rib-eye steaks arrived cold, but thankfully were very tender. The side dish was fries with no sauce for the meat. Coffee was served in teacups! We were disappointed compared to our visit to the same place two years ago.
