Chance, hunger, and the cold led us to this restaurant just after New Year's Eve. Arriving on a Friday evening at 8:30 pm without a reservation, we were welcomed and received a warm reception. We loved the place and the atmosphere; we were served very quickly. My husband chose the steak tartare, and I had the octopus and grilled cuttlefish. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal; I had never eaten such tender octopus. The desserts were also excellent, especially the banoffee pie. We will be back.

I highly recommend this restaurant if you want to have a good time, excellent and high-quality cuisine, professional service and very pleasant staff, and a very warm and friendly atmosphere where you always make great connections.

During a weekend getaway to Le Puy, we stopped at this charming restaurant which offered a local vegetarian dish for me. What a pleasant surprise! A very well-balanced, sophisticated, and expertly prepared vegetarian dish, made with local ingredients. As someone who wanted to explore the region, I wasn't disappointed. Well done and thank you for this effort; I don't often see such a good vegetarian dish in a restaurant!

A huge thank you to Mathieu and Mathis for their warm welcome and friendliness. We arrived at almost 2 pm and they readily agreed to welcome us. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere is welcoming, in short, I recommend it 100%!

10/08/2025: Great experience! We arrived at 7:15 pm, a group of 5 of us, and were seated directly on the terrace. The service was a bit slow, but there was only one person there, so nothing to worry about, and the dishes were all delicious and very generous. I highly recommend this establishment.
07/08/2025: A superb address for our evening meal 🤩 Recommended by Thibault, the young owner of Fon Fon, faultless! Top-notch cuisine! Adorable waitress (Katia) with formidable efficiency and exceptional kindness. The owner kindly explained a few little cooking secrets to these lentils, which we'll keep secret here. A big thank you to him 😊👍 The aligot with pork loin is remarkably delicate, served with a small, high-quality mixed salad. For my part, I went for a fillet of salmon trout from the small river 3 km from the restaurant. Simply remarkable, perfectly cooked, with a little blue cheese sauce. I finished with dessert. A verbena sorbet and verbena liqueur cup. Amazing 🤩 The interior of the restaurant is very cozy. Very nice. And the prices are very reasonable. So, we didn't hesitate, just went for it!
