We had a lovely time as a family, enjoying a delicious meal, especially the oysters and the seafood spaghetti. One minor point: the fish soup. Why did they put pieces of fish in it? Perhaps the menu prices could also be reviewed.

We arrived an hour early for our reservation and despite the restaurant being full, they found us a table... thank you again... a very good experience, quick and efficient service, and a very pleasant waiter... as for the meal, nothing to complain about from the main course to the dessert (5 different courses and 5 different desserts, and no one was disappointed)... we will be back

A wonderful experience, a very pretty setting both inside and out, and a very friendly waiter. No wait, the hearty meal was very good, both the main course and the desserts... We had a sauerkraut royal and an excellent tartare. And for dessert, a gourmet coffee and Chartreuse ice cream, which was also very good. Good value for money. I recommend it.

A very beautiful restaurant from the outside and even prettier inside. The staff is very friendly and attentive (very professional). The manager, Johan, is very pleasant and very friendly; he knows his establishment inside and out. The food is excellent and the presentation is impeccable (kudos to the chef and his team). I highly recommend it. I will come back for dinner on my next visit to Le Puy-en-Velay.

10/08/2025: Great experience! We arrived at 7:15 pm, a group of 5 of us, and were seated directly on the terrace. The service was a bit slow, but there was only one person there, so nothing to worry about, and the dishes were all delicious and very generous. I highly recommend this establishment.
07/08/2025: A superb address for our evening meal 🤩 Recommended by Thibault, the young owner of Fon Fon, faultless! Top-notch cuisine! Adorable waitress (Katia) with formidable efficiency and exceptional kindness. The owner kindly explained a few little cooking secrets to these lentils, which we'll keep secret here. A big thank you to him 😊👍 The aligot with pork loin is remarkably delicate, served with a small, high-quality mixed salad. For my part, I went for a fillet of salmon trout from the small river 3 km from the restaurant. Simply remarkable, perfectly cooked, with a little blue cheese sauce. I finished with dessert. A verbena sorbet and verbena liqueur cup. Amazing 🤩 The interior of the restaurant is very cozy. Very nice. And the prices are very reasonable. So, we didn't hesitate, just went for it!

03/01/2026: Chance, hunger, and the cold led us to this restaurant just after New Year's Eve. Arriving on a Friday evening at 8:30 pm without a reservation, we were welcomed and received a warm reception. We loved the place and the atmosphere; we were served very quickly. My husband chose the steak tartare, and I had the octopus and grilled cuttlefish. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal; I had never eaten such tender octopus. The desserts were also excellent, especially the banoffee pie. We will be back.
02/01/2026: I highly recommend this restaurant if you want to have a good time, excellent and high-quality cuisine, professional service and very pleasant staff, and a very warm and friendly atmosphere where you always make great connections.
