Nadège and her staff are very friendly... pleasant welcome and service. They only serve when the whole table is ready... we all eat together! I recommend them even for large groups...

In Sancerre, the menu and choice of dishes are very good; I recommend it. The service is efficient. A nice touch: hummus and tuna rillettes offered as a starter.

The Connétable Tavern has become a truly exceptional restaurant. I was impressed by its evolution. Delicious, elegant but not pretentious, pleasant, and attentive to every customer. Hats off to them.

23/03/2026: Excellent place to eat. A must-do in Sancerre.
20/03/2026: After a morning coffee, I decided to have lunch there. The welcome was fantastic, the service impeccable and always with a smile – simply superb! The meal was excellent, the croquette with Crottin de Chavignol cheese and its very generous salad were particularly delicious, as was the very generous dessert. It's a great place to remember! The staff are so welcoming and always smiling – it's heartwarming! Keep up the good work, it's wonderful!
