La Taverne Moderne sur Carcassonne

04/09/2024: The place is very beautiful, it is old in an art deco style and it is worth going just for the place. The food is not bad at all and the waiters are friendly and know how to speak Spanish. It has a large terrace outside, but since it was very hot, we decided to eat inside, but since we were next to the window, at the same time the sun was shining on us and we were also hot. But in general it is a nice place and despite how big it is, it is cozy. The bill for the meal cost us 57 euros for two people. We ordered a meal formula that was cheaper and another that was a little bigger. The water was provided for us free of charge, up to two jugs of water. I ordered the steamed mussels but I didn't want them to add sauce and they served it with fries. Although the mussels were small, they were good in flavor and there were a lot of them, better to share.

01/09/2024: Normal restaurant with an outdoor terrace, very cozy in summer. The service was extremely attentive and friendly, but the food was average. The prices are slightly higher than everywhere else in France.
