As a solo diner, I was turned away by a 4.8-rated restaurant nearby, but this place warmly welcomed me. Although the staff didn’t speak much English, they were incredibly friendly and genuinely attentive. Their cassoulet was absolutely delicious. The meat was tender and slow-cooked to perfection, and the crust on top was beautifully crisp. The crème brûlée was wonderfully smooth and silky as well. I truly hope this restaurant gets the high rating it deserves soon.

A wonderful discovery in Carcassonne! Warm welcome, fast and friendly service from start to finish. The lasagna was delicious, the mixed charcuterie board well-stocked with good local products, and the dessert was excellent to finish on a sweet note. We had a friendly time, in a relaxed and authentic atmosphere. A real pleasure - we will definitely come back!

Warm welcome, super tasty and WELL-seasoned food. And the next day we went across the street for breakfast, and we were greeted with a warm hello 😁. 15/02/2026: We arrived late to make a reservation and were served promptly. The restaurant's decor and ambiance are very well done. A highlight is its unique restrooms. We wanted to try a good cassoulet and it didn't disappoint. It lived up to our expectations. The foie gras, duck, and dessert were all excellent. We'll definitely be back when we return.
14/02/2026: A delightful stopover at the foot of the Cité. While I've only sampled the drinks menu so far, the welcome is exceptionally elegant. The terrace offers a haven of absolute serenity that one never tires of. As a discerning epicurean, I commend the establishment's impeccable upkeep. Special praise goes to the Cameroonian-born woman who oversees the cleanliness: her professionalism and meticulous attention to detail are the unsung pillars of the excellence Mr. Putelat strives for. The meat display is a gastronomic promise that will bring me back very soon for dinner. A must-visit.

03/01/2026: I discovered this bakery/pastry shop quite by chance during my recent stay in Carcassonne, and I was very pleasantly surprised. Freshness, quality, price, service—everything is perfect. I highly recommend it.
