La Terrasse du Chateau de Duras sur Duras

Had a really great meal here with friends. We were not planning to eat here, but everything else was closed. So glad we did. Will definitely come back again.

The crêperie "La Terrasse du Château" is a must-visit in Duras. A very warm welcome awaits you, from the charming young woman in the dining room to the owner in the kitchen who checks in with the guests. Having been there before, we returned on November 11th. They offered two special seatings on this public holiday, but it was well worth the wait. A true delight, from the revisited "Breton" galettes, as delicious as they are beautiful, to the crêpes, not forgetting the cider, both dry and sweet. Other options besides crêpes are available, from hearty salads to the Breton burger... absolutely mouthwatering! So, whether you choose to sit inside or on the terrace, go without hesitation and enjoy! A young couple sitting in a corner behind the window will definitely be back. Until next time!

Visited here last night for dinner. We had the hot dog galette and the five cheese galette and they were delicious. The waitress was lovely as was the chef who came out the kitchen to chat to us. Would recommend.

Better than we expected. We were looking for a restaurant for lunch, having been assured that there were plenty of various levels & types in Duras. Having failed to find a proper restaurant we chose this snack bar. They did mix up our order, our drinks didn't arrive, but the food was good for what it was. It arrived quickly & was hot. Very pleased really as they were busy & we'd clearly hit them smack in their busy lunchtime trade. It was very reasonably priced & we hadn't been charged for the missing drinks, so there was probably just a misunderstanding. This was the best part of our visit to Duras, as not only could we not find the "plenty of restaurants " we also could not find the lake we had been assured was on the outskirts of the town. In frustration we didn't bother to visit the chocolate factory/shop either.

It's delicious and served by a very attentive person, and the boss is super nice! Really good!!🌹

A wonderful discovery, a friendly welcome, the galettes and crêpes are excellent, as is the cider. They also make more classic dishes that we didn't try, but when we saw them at other tables, they were appetizing and plentiful. A good place to keep in mind.

If I had to name a crêperie as good as Brittany, it would definitely be La Terrasse du Château in Duras. Generous and delicious crêpes, nothing to complain about. The weekday lunch menu is very good. The owner is friendly. Bravo!
