La Tourangelle sur Montlouis-Sur-Loire

05/02/2026: As huge fans of the Gueuleton franchise, we had been dreaming of discovering this cave restaurant. We weren't disappointed. The setting is magnificent. The staff is very professional and attentive (thank you for the candle with dessert for my birthday). The grill chef gave excellent advice on the ribeye steak. The waitresses were equally helpful. The pâté en croûte is well worth its awards. The wines, both white and red, from the region, are sumptuous. I even left with a case of six. The sparkling white Cray is simply incredible. A very special mention goes to the dessert, which we enjoyed immensely: the Grand Marnier soufflé. We will gladly return with friends to show them this magnificent interior with its incredible central fireplace.

04/02/2026: After a disappointing first experience when Gueleton first opened in Montlouis, a second visit has led me to revise my initial assessment. The team has found its footing with the concept, and the cuisine is centered around sharing and conviviality in a unique setting that's well worth a visit. It's the perfect place to enjoy a good time with colleagues or friends.
