A good address and very warm welcome, beautiful plates and very good food except for my pike-perch fillet which was a piece on the tail, a little disappointing.

Passing through the region, we had dinner at La Vieille Auberge. The cuisine was traditional, generous, and authentic. We received a warm welcome and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The atmosphere was cozy, with a fireplace and a cheese trolley that was well worth a visit. We would gladly return if the opportunity arises.

Excellent place! The food is delicious, the cheese platter is incredible. Very good value for money. And the owner is always available to answer our questions about wines, cheeses, etc. We had a very pleasant time!

Very good little restaurant, a little dated but with a tempting menu. The portions are decent. The dishes are well-cooked. The beef fillet with morel sauce is impeccable. A good, recommended stopover.

Where can you eat well in Saulieu in the evening?
We (an elderly couple with a dog) went to the restaurant La Vieille Auberge. Simple decor, room for the dog. Menu offerings were displayed on the blackboard set up for us.
For both of us, salad as a starter was excellent.
My wife's beef was very good, while for me, seafood was completely satisfying. The highlight for me: the chocolate fondant and crème anglaise was extremely delicious! We would eat there again!
