A setting and atmosphere from another era. The very warm welcome and the brunch... fantastic with good local produce and delicious scrambled eggs. I recommend without reservation. We will come back.

An establishment that I frequent every time during my mountain biking weekends in the Morvan. Café de Paris one of the oldest cafés in the region with a real atmosphere Good points : Easy place to find, and ideal for eating after a market day Simple cuisine, but with quality ingredients so no problem getting listed there Affordable price compared to quality Negative points : Like everywhere, the lack of staff is felt following Covid, avoid the terrace on busy days, or be patient

Here you just need to say 'hello ladies and gentlemen' when you arrive so that the questioning look of the regulars becomes a look of sympathy. Then take a little moment to feel the family atmosphere and then be amazed by the varied and rich decor of the establishment which for older guests will remind you of Parisian brasseries of character. The welcome is warm and installation is quick. Personally I have a weakness for the Charolais piece which I find remarkable. You don't wait very long for the dishes and will take the time to taste. We stretch our legs to pay at the bar. Enjoy your meal everybody.

Warm atmosphere and cuisine in an old-fashioned café that I like! On this day in December, delicious snails and vegetable soup as a starter, and comforting salty lentils as a main course. A very good moment !

26/03/2024: Finding it by searching on Google, this restaurant is worth the detour. Menu good value for money. Really satisfied with this cuisine and the very family service. We recommend it is rare in our time to find a restaurant like this. Enjoy your meal.

La Vieille Auberge

18/03/2024: Reception a little cold. We didn't have a reservation, it was a Monday lunchtime and there was no one there. Lack of a little background music to give a warm feel to the hostel. Unfriendly service. However, the meal was very good. Good quality dishes and in good quantities. A little wait during service.
17/03/2024: Well done. Very very good. Very friendly waitress.
