During our Valentine's Day weekend in Cognac, we stopped for lunch at this restaurant which boasts a superb view of the Charente River. They offered reimagined cocktails with a touch of cognac, and the food was excellent from appetizer to dessert, topped off with very pleasant and helpful staff. Don't hesitate to stop by!

Attentive and caring staff.
Congratulations to the chef and his team for preparing and serving excellent dishes with meticulous presentation.
Given some of the negative comments, I'd like to say to those quick to criticize, eat at your own restaurant and don't come and spoil the experience for people who appreciate good food.
I highly recommend this establishment (table #2).

A very warm welcome, superb decor, and their reputation is well-deserved; the dishes are excellent and reasonably priced.
You can really taste the fresh, local produce.
Watching the chefs at work makes you want to be right there in the kitchen with them—it's fantastic.
You can go without hesitation.

I took my partner to this restaurant yesterday and we had a wonderful time. Everything was fantastic: excellent food, excellent service, beautiful decor… I highly recommend it and will be sure to tell everyone I know about this establishment. We will definitely be back with great pleasure.

A place well worth the detour, with excellent and fresh cuisine, very good value for money, impeccable service (real service, professional and friendly, the complete opposite of Paris), and an exceptional location, right on the banks of the Charente. Don't hesitate!

Excellent restaurant (everything is homemade, which is a real plus). The staff are friendly, the prices are very reasonable, and the owners are very welcoming.
Friendly atmosphere.
If you're looking for a welcoming restaurant with good food at a reasonable price, you can go there without hesitation. I recommend it 100%.
