The renovation is really lovely, although I would have added a few more frames because, while the overall aim is simple, chic, and minimalist, some areas feel a bit bland. The new menu is interesting and varied, although I was disappointed by the description of my dessert, "brookie," which was nothing like a brookie. Even though the idea is to reinvent the dessert, it's more of a lava cake with cookie ice cream... I couldn't find any pieces of brownie or cookie. The dessert was good, but I was still disappointed. My husband felt the same way; he ordered a chestnut cream and Oreo tiramisu and found very little chestnut cream! The rest of the meal was good. The waitresses did their job, though they lacked smiles and customer interaction, which they did very well. There's still room for improvement, but overall, it's a very good restaurant!

Visit here with my parents in June 2026. The food was absolutely outstanding. I had the best sweet mash potatoes of my life here. It's a pretty big restaurant and very spacious. If you are passing through Château-Gontier, please go here.
