Beaune has exceptional restaurants and La Benaton is one that sits comfortably in that category. The food is absolutely delicious and is Michelin Star worthy. The service is excellent but you do need to keep an eye on over zealous wine pouring waiters, who top you up constantly, which can leave you with the impression that you are being rushed through a bottle of wine. The restaurant is quiet and had an air of exclusivity, lacking a warmth and vibrancy which may dissuade young foodies from visiting, which would be a great shame as the food is absolutely superb. Dog friendly and well worth a visit!

The best restaurant in Beaune.
This is really a Classic French...
I mean that the dishes doesn't have just small things with just decorations with lots of people.
Remind me old style dishes of classic French like Paul Bocuse.
Rouget, Basse, Langustine, Omard bleu....
Quality, Hight-class ingredients, Atompospher and price of menus is very reasonable....
The wine list is also beautiful and the price is correct.

Really are very well. French with a twist of Japan. Really tasteful, very subtle. Really nice to look at and surprising to eat. The dishes are near perfection and service was very good and attent. We walked out being very happy

Quel accueil et surtout que de saveurs ! Nous avons passé un excellent moment, tout était parfait et la perte récente de l’étoile nous est apparue incompréhensible ! Nous reviendrons à n’en pas douter et avec grand plaisir lors d’un prochain séjour à Beaune !
