Le Bistrot sur Fougeres

We received a warm welcome from both the waitress and the chef. The food was excellent. We will definitely return, as we have very fond memories of our visit.

Everything was absolutely amazing! We ordered the dishes the waitress recommended and they were absolutely delicious! We highly recommend this very authentic restaurant!

Located near the theater and a short distance from Fougères Castle, "Le Bistrot" combines gourmet cuisine, bistro fare, and pizza. The chef works exclusively with high-quality, local products. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The food is delicious. The chef and his team shared their passion with us. An excellent discovery! A restaurant we highly recommend for a wonderful culinary experience and a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Top-notch!

Great experience. The food was really, really good. A great experience. The food and service were very, very good. Very clean place.

First, book a table. We were lucky that there was a table available for us as the restaurant filled up quickly. We had three courses and they were all delicious (the crumble to finish was so refreshing). The wine was an interesting Chenin from South Africa and was better than we expected it to be (someone had made the effort to include this on the wine list). Service was excellent and the waitress worked very hard all night, up and down those steps to the first floor, commendable! She informed us right at the beginning that she only spoke French (we personally do not expect anyone to speak English when in France) but was very patient with us as we stumbled through the menu. Recommended, but make a reservation so you're not disappointed.

A must-try. The dishes are prepared with meticulous care. The molten egg is an absolute must-try. A moment of pure delight. Like everything else.

Once again, we returned to Fougères and without hesitation went back to the bistro. I highly recommend it. Always so pleasant, delighted with our choice, the food is still excellent, as is the service. P.S. to the chef: the tongue with mashed potatoes today was delicious, congratulations again!
