Le Bistrot sur Fougeres

Fougères has "ITS BISTRO"! A friendly place. The owner, a true pro at good food, knows how to make you want to try his creations. The very attentive waiter can tell you all about your meal. A place where many celebrities who have come to perform in the theater have left photo mementos that cover a wall upstairs. We enjoyed it twice during our week-long holiday. Thank you for your welcome!!!! A MUST-TRY!!!!

A very atmospheric bistro. There was a small ground floor dining area and space upstairs for about 30 diners. The ground floor area was full so we were guided upstairs. The stairs were narrow and not suitable for disabled but we had no trouble. The waiter was very friendly, knowledgeable and helped us decide. He told us they had a max of 30 customers at any one time because it allows them to concentrate on service and quality of food. The food was very tasty, the best burger in a long time. We met the chef / owner as we left. What a nice man, very pleasant. A lovely place to eat.

What a fabulous place. The staff - couldn't do enough for us. Explained the menu in detail, spent time checking everything was ok for us, despite being very busy. The food was excellent. I normally don't choose pork but I'm so glad I did! It was delicious. Highly recommend this fabulous bistrot!

What a find, superb food with very friendly service. Ala carte menu with excellent daily specials and scrummy desserts. The Chef was very personable and works in an open kitchen. Obviously lots of food prep going on before opening. Outstanding food

A very pleasant bistro-style restaurant where you can watch the owner cooking with quality ingredients behind the counter, a very friendly atmosphere, and a waiter who serves excellent cocktails and presents the dishes beautifully. And of course, it's delicious!

A small restaurant located just steps from the theater, where we had a wonderful time. An attentive waiter and a chef who truly delighted our taste buds with high-quality, local ingredients. A fantastic discovery, with flavorful dishes that pay homage to bistro tradition. An address we happily recommend!

We stumbled upon the terrace of this little bistro and decided to share a meal there. Drawn in by the warm and professional service, our choice was confirmed by the perfectly executed cuisine, respecting the bistro's traditions: good local produce and simple, delicious recipes. A special mention goes to the waiter's suggestions, including the excellent revisited Moscow mule!
