We came to Sarlat for a few days and were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. The staff were very welcoming, and the food was excellent. We returned several times (twice for meals and a generous breakfast every morning). We highly recommend it! Laura and Nizou

We arrived right when they opened (3 people). We chose our table and received a superb welcome. The service was quick. The portions were generous and delicious, all for a reasonable price. We will definitely be back.

The place was packed, so it could have gone poorly, but it turned out to be a very pleasant experience. I sensed that these folks wanted my wife and I to enjoy ourselves and we did. The sweet young waitress tolerated my attempts at French while she did much better with her English. I’m glad I had the “formule.” It was an excellent introduction to the Perigord cuisine.

On this September day, when the sun was shining, you were there, but it wasn't the only one. Indeed, the servers (Norbert and his young colleague) knew how to meet the not-always-easy wishes of the customers with their smiles and attentiveness. Between the smiles, the dishes, and the little extras, we were treated like royalty. I highly recommend the establishment.

21/12/2025: Superb restaurant with a magnificent terrace overlooking the square!
15/12/2025: Pizza is the main course; it's not cheap, but a €25 set menu isn't either. Being a party of four, we ordered it. And wow, it was absolutely delicious! A minor complaint about the dessert: it was too dry, even with crème anglaise. It was hard to swallow; I think they need to revise the recipe. A €23 set menu would be perfect. The main course... the sauce was a delight for the taste buds, and the meat was exceptional. I enjoyed the meal and the excellent service. The hamburgers... not great, really just the bare minimum: a bun and a patty... they need to improve in that area.

10/12/2025: The first thing I want to highlight is the service, which was outstanding. Even though we didn't speak the same language and it took us a little while to understand each other, the staff were absolutely lovely, patient, and helpful. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome! Those gestures are worth their weight in gold and make you feel welcome instantly. What's more, we arrived at a busy time, without a reservation, just before the kitchen closed, and they still kindly made room for us and served us a meal. A truly thoughtful touch that we greatly appreciated! Our bill came to about €22 each.
07/12/2025: Dinner for a group of 15 people; all the dishes arrived at the same time. The food was good and the service very friendly. See you soon!
