While looking for a restaurant, we chose the bistro. We were completely forgotten at first, but once our order was taken, it was quick. The dishes were good and generous.

Everything was absolutely delicious! The cheese, foie gras, and duck were all outstanding and perfectly prepared. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. A wonderful place with amazing food—highly recommended!

Mixed experience... We stopped for a snack on the terrace. The walnut cakes were very good. The service was friendly. When it came time to pay, we presented the card reader, asked the waiter to confirm, and then he presented the card reader to me to pay. I noticed an extra €5 charge, pointed it out, but it couldn't be changed; the waiter confirmed it. I'm not against tips, but for a 20-minute break, without my knowledge, I don't think that's right. It should be mentioned beforehand, not imposed.

My favourite bistro in Sarlat. Great menu with all our favourites. Confit de Canard. Pan seared foie gras, bloc foie gras, cassoulet and so much more. Efficient friendly service. Perfect location next to the cathedral. Outdoor dining is perfect. We were lucky to visit during the music festival and had amazing live music. We were here 15 years ago and the food, atmosphere and service is still outstanding.

01/08/2026: We found this by chance as I was inspecting the menu when the chef himself told me the restaurant was excellent. My wife and I ate here for our 50th wedding anniversary. It didn't disappoint. Food was very tasty, well presented and served in a timely fashion. We were not pressed or pressured to go faster. All in all an excellent experience.
01/08/2026: A wonderful discovery! This restaurant is right in the heart of Sarlat. The food is excellent, the portions are generous, and you won't leave hungry. Thank you to the owners and staff, who are very welcoming and friendly. Don't miss it; you won't be disappointed, unlike the usual tourist traps. I highly recommend it.

11/07/2026: The meals were good and plentiful, the waiters were very pleasant, a very good time
04/07/2026: Mixed feelings about this restaurant: good service and good pizza. But 15 euros for a salad served on a dessert plate with a burrata, a few arugula leaves, two cherry tomatoes, and three slices of mini cucumber... I feel a bit ripped off!
