Le Bistrot Central sur Ruffec

I've already eaten at this restaurant twice. Excellent welcome, warm and smiling owner, excellent food, the veal tagine: a delight. I don't understand some of the hateful comments. Some customers should also question their standards and attitude.

We stumbled upon this restaurant in Ruffec on July 31st, on our way to our holiday destination. One thing never lies: when locals eat there, it's a very good sign! We received a warm, friendly, and professional welcome. The service was incredibly fast; we enjoyed a starter, main course, dessert, and coffee in under an hour, stopwatch in hand. For €20, a complete meal with home-style cooking is definitely a place to remember. The meat and andouillette sausage were perfectly cooked, and the homemade fries were crispy (and I'm picky about that). We have very fond memories of this meal.
