What a lovely find. Reasonably priced food and overall very good. Delicious plat du jour. A restaurant bar right on the heart of the village square. Great on market days.

Everything was perfect, from the main course to the dessert, including the appetizer. Excellent service with excellent timing. Pleasant waiters. A quality meal with good ingredients at a very reasonable price. Thank you, we will be happy to return.

We stopped off the N10 for lunch on our way to Bordeaux. We were warmly welcomed with our dog. The meal was very good, both the main course and dessert. Good value for money. €47 for two, including beer and coffee.

15/08/2026: Excellent food and a great atmosphere with a smile!
13/08/2026: We sat outside on a baking hot day, which was lovely but not cool! Madame is completely charming but the waitress was surly and unsmiling. Food was pretty good but unremarkable. Drinks were cold which was fabulous! The situation in the square is lovely though. It’s a good stop off in Ruffec.
