Originally from Saint-Junien, I took my partner to Bistrot Limousin to try a Limousin rib steak. The menu listed it as rare, and I politely asked for it medium-rare, which was refused. What a disappointment! We opted for other dishes, but the customer service was lacking… I completely understand a refusal if the request was excessive, but it doesn't seem to me that was the case. We won't be returning, and I unfortunately wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

Without a doubt, the best restaurant in Saint-Junien. A warm welcome, generous portions, and always homemade with local produce. Very reasonable prices for the quality and quantity offered.

We usually go there. Tonight there were three of us. A very good, pleasant restaurant with generous portions, delicious flavors, and beautiful presentation. The chef is superb, and the waitress manages everything perfectly on her own. Other restaurants should take note of their hygiene and quality ingredients. Highly recommended. Jealous and malicious people, move along, because there's no other restaurant like this. Well done, keep it up!

We arrived without a reservation and were warmly welcomed. The service was impeccable, the food was 100% fresh and cooked to perfection. We will definitely return to enjoy the quality of service and cuisine. Thank you again for this wonderful experience.

A fantastic, authentic bistro, a warm welcome, and extraordinary local cuisine. This was our second visit; the food was as generous as it was delicious, the background music was pleasant, and the owner was a real character. Unbeatable value for money with a set menu (starter, main course, dessert) for €25. No reservations needed, and plenty of time to enjoy lunch. A great place to remember.

09/12/2025: Birthday meal for our dear Grandma 💖. We highly recommend this restaurant. Warm welcome, incredibly kind waitresses and owner. Delicious dishes made with local produce. Thank you so much, it was just perfect. We will definitely be back. However, remember to book in advance.

28/12/2025: An excellent experience, without taking many risks based on the reviews. We thoroughly enjoyed the bistro menu. The quality and quantity were both excellent. The owner is lovely and comes to chat with his customers. A special mention for his dog! A restaurant you absolutely must visit! It's a shame we were only passing through.
25/12/2025: Christmas lunch organized with work, a truly wonderful experience. The vegetarian menu was excellent, with a special mention for the risotto, which was absolutely delicious. The welcome was warm and attentive. A place I highly recommend and where I will definitely return 😊
