Family lunch, decent service and completely honest meal. Sancerre was under construction and businesses most often did not reopen until the next day for a season which begins in May.

Charming restaurant in the heart of Sancerre, with a pleasant little terrace and a pleasant cozy room. Inventive menu combining local products, spices, stewed vegetables, and daily finds. The cellar section is not left out, the offer gives pride of place to local vineyards, particularly organic, and there is plenty to do. To complete this already flattering portrait, the welcome is warm, smiling, and invites you to stop and have a good time without spending too much and while having fun.

Warm and friendly welcome, “homemade” cuisine which gives pride of place to Chavignol, few tables so little waiting time. In short, a good address to which we return regularly 👍

Went for lunch on a Sunday without a booking. They were very accommodating. Very limited choice but a delicious salad and very good wine

An excellent restaurant, small menu, entirely homemade and quality cuisine, don't hesitate to choose the crotin de chavignol ice cream: a delight. The service is smiling and efficient and even the toilets (apple green) are perfect. An address to remember to return there

Menu Chavignol avec toutes versions du fromage et tomates du jardin excellent ! Sans compter la glace au chèvre sur le lit d’ananas, ce n’est pas une blague, c’est exquis surtout en cette journée caniculaire.

31/08/2024: Great discovery and good, very hearty dish. Slate system e+p or p+d €21 or €25 e+p+d. Small terrace for lunch by the water 👍. Park at the market, it’s within walking distance.
06/08/2024: We were already there in the early afternoon and were still warmly welcomed for lunch with our three children. A warm family business with an attractive bar for locals. Perfect for a tasty, well-organized lunch as a charger for a tasting afternoon - for which the owners gave us the perfect tip. Keep up the good work!

12/09/2024: Very nice place, very good service with a pleasant team and good food, only small complaint, the tantin tart lacks caramelization, I will definitely come back.
11/09/2024: Second time and still just as good. A friendly place, where you chat with your table neighbors. The staff is fast and attentive. Meurette eggs and crème brûlée. Wine Pierre and Nicolas Reverdy The land of Maimbray. Thank you for this moment.
