Le Cadusia sur Chaource

We were lucky enough to celebrate Valentine's Day at this establishment in Chaource, and it was a truly wonderful experience. A huge thank you to the Enfer family, especially Christelle Enfer and Inesia, for their incredibly warm welcome and kindness. The Valentine's Day dinner was bistro-style and absolutely delicious, with beautifully presented dishes bursting with flavor. The room was very comfortable, with a magnificent view. The terrace in the morning is incredible, and the breakfast was perfect for starting the day off right. We left delighted and sincerely thank this establishment for such a wonderful time.

During a stay for a great evening, the hotel was comfortable and quiet, with a very good meal and excellent service.

My wife and I spent one night there. It was perfect. We had the €38 set menu at the restaurant and it was delicious. The staff were very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend it.

Despite a minor issue with the online reservation due to the establishment being closed for holidays, the owner quickly found a solution. It's generally recommended to book by phone. A very warm welcome awaits you at this family-run business, now in its fifth generation; you can feel the dedication of every staff member. The restaurant is fantastic, with a super friendly waitress who provided helpful explanations about the local area and knew her dishes and wines well. The crispy andouillette sausage was excellent, featuring local products. A nice bonus is the gas station right across the street. Thank you for your warm welcome and your quick response in finding a solution!

We stayed at La Cardusia for the first time earlier this month on our way to Spain and it was a wonderful discovery! We will definitely go back next time we pass through France. The room was very comfortable and the beds were so good that, along with the total peace and quiet, we overslept the next morning for the first time in ages. We had a great meal at the restaurant the night before and we were very happy with both the price there and of the room. But the best bit was meeting Frederic. We all know that the style, attitude and friendliness of the staff can make all the other things about your stay even better and that was absolutely true here. We have never had such a warm welcome at any hotel in France as we got here from Frederic. His English is superb to the point that he made us laugh with his sense of humour and his ability to communicate that to non French speakers. The following morning after getting good local advice from Frederic, we felt we were saying goodbye to a friend. This hotel is a brilliant example of the best of Logis hotels and we can’t wait to stay there again.

Superb place! Friendly welcome, spacious, clean – in short, we felt very comfortable there. We ordered set menus, which were truly sublime in every way (quality of the food, presentation of the dishes, and very generous portions). An explosion of flavors with every bite. A wine and champagne list perfectly suited to the local terroir. Ample parking for easy access. A wonderful discovery right on our doorstep! We will definitely be back!
