A great discovery: careful and tasty dishes made with fresh produce and lots of creativity, excellent value for money, and friendly service! Good wine advice to accompany it all. My partner and I have stopped there twice already, on our way to vacation. And we will come back!

02/04/2024: Real cuisine, well done chef, our taste buds exploded. Exceptional value for money and quality 👍🏻. The chef enhances the ingredients wonderfully, even on the daily menu. THANKS. Perfect service and calm atmosphere.
31/03/2024: Last night I had an incredible experience at l’Ardoise restaurant. The atmosphere was cozy, the staff friendly and attentive, and the food exquisite. I tried a delicious salad followed by one of the best piece du boeuf I have ever eaten, accompanied by a delicious bed of potatoes. The wines that accompanied the dinner were perfect. To finish, we enjoyed an assortment of cheeses and an irresistible chocolate moelleux. I will definitely come back! Highly recommended

28/03/2024: Lovely friendly café frequented by locals, had the perfect 'petit déjeuner complet' when we stopped in Mâcon.
23/03/2024: Chocolates and other delicious dishes, to put on your to do list during your road trip through Macon (allow at least 18 days to properly visit).
