La Fraternité - Café Français is a restaurant that is very “raffiné” indeed, enhanced by the original recipes and an impeccable service done by a very up class waiter named Pierre. The four of us stopped there for a lunch and were delighted by the offers on the set menu, so most of us chose a fish theme menu, pushed down to oblivion by a fabulous local white wine. The cuisine is definitely on the sophisticated side as well as the presentation. The service is elegant and professional the bill is well proportioned to the moment shared. A place for self indulgence.

We decided to have dinner in Mâcon on our way there, and the name of this restaurant caught our eye. We thought the motto displayed suggested a lovely place. We were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the warm welcome from the waiter! The dishes were all delicious, but I was particularly won over by the roasted tomato soup with its ricotta cream (and pickled red onions) and the desserts (an exquisite crème brûlée and a delicious buckwheat brownie). The other diners loved the daily special (fried bleak). We also enjoyed the amuse-bouches (lentil hummus with za'atar). The waiters were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. It was perfect! We will gladly return to this restaurant!

We had lunch as a couple one day. A very good meal, with original and flavorful dishes. The cuisine is refined, and the ingredients are fresh and local. Excellent wine list. The filtered water package is great (€2 per person, regardless of the quantity consumed).
Thanks to Amo&Pajo for their excellent restaurant recommendations. A very good place to eat.
