If you're looking for an exceptional experience, look no further: the welcome, the quality of the homemade dishes, the kindness of Didier and his wife. We licked our plates clean and we'll be back!

The kind of food we love, and which is becoming increasingly rare. We were a group of eight and were treated like royalty! The cuisine is exceptional and comforting. The service is warm and welcoming. Go without hesitation and let Didier's kindness guide you.

Passing through Brioude, we stopped at this restaurant. We received a wonderful welcome. The tables were beautifully set, and the food was excellent; we thoroughly enjoyed the delicious and generous portions. €28 per person for a three-course meal (starter, main course, dessert, and wine).

Excellent traditional home cooking in a setting that reminds me of my childhood. It felt like I'd stopped by my uncle's house.

We stumbled upon this restaurant while passing through, and we're so glad we did! We received a very warm welcome, and Didier made us feel right at home. It's a family-run and authentic restaurant. The food is delicious. The truffade is excellent. We had a lovely time, and we'll definitely be back as soon as we're in the area again! I highly recommend it.

Le Saint-Laurent

05/09/2026: Hello Saint-Laurent team. I'm writing to thank you warmly for your hospitality. I had a wonderful time at your establishment; the frog legs on Friday were delicious. We also had the pleasure of meeting two charming fellow diners, and I especially wanted to commend Jérôme for his professionalism, kindness, and attentiveness. It's a pleasure to experience such thoughtful service. A big thank you to the entire team, and best of luck to you all! Sylvie Ferrier
25/08/2026: A truly wonderful place, with generous, homemade cuisine, and it shows. I'm a restaurant owner, and this is exactly the kind of place I love! The young waiter was very professional and attentive. We arrived a little late with our children and were served very quickly.

Restaurant Les Routiers

16/09/2026: Friendly, good and simple, but note that there's no all-you-can-eat buffet like in most truck stops.
05/09/2026: A simple but very welcoming restaurant with simple but well-prepared food. The waitress was lovely and attentive to her customers' well-being. Very reasonable prices. Perhaps a touch of modernity would make it even more appealing. In any case, we had a great meal! Thank you to the whole team. We'll be back if the opportunity arises.
