A truly excellent restaurant to discover in Pau. The meal is refined, generous, and expertly prepared, with ingredients that truly reflect the care and attention to detail of the cuisine.
The welcome is warm and pleasant, with a genuine connection to the customers, making the experience even more enjoyable. While the prices are in the fine dining range, the value for money is excellent considering the quality of the dishes, the service, and the overall experience. A small, intimate dining room, quality cuisine, and a welcoming team: Le Canard Royal clearly deserves its excellent reputation. A place I highly recommend and where I will gladly return.

Absolutely fantastic! The meal was delicious, the portions generous, we were craving duck and we weren't disappointed! The food was high quality and the meat was incredibly tender. Furthermore, the service was excellent: fast, efficient, attentive, and very welcoming! I highly recommend it!

I absolutely love this place, highly recommend! I love duck and this place has the best duck I have ever tasted. Perfect French cooking, lovely atmosphere and good service, the server spoke English and explained the menue to me. They also have delicious steak. The potatoes and sauce were heavenly. Thank you

Everything was fantastic! There were four of us, two children and two adults, and we wanted to try a little bit of everything, so we ordered a semi-cooked foie gras to share, followed by four different dishes. Everything was exceptional and perfectly cooked. We left delighted. Thank you for this wonderful meal.

We had duck breast and duck confit, and it was absolutely delicious. Some of the most delicious we've ever had. The waiters were very attentive and professional. If I return to Pau, I'll definitely go back there, as I have wonderful memories of a fantastic dinner.
