Le Canard Royal sur Pau

The food was incredibly tasty and delicious. The waiter was exceptionally kind and offered excellent advice. I wholeheartedly recommend this splendid restaurant.

While on holiday in Pau, we came to this restaurant with our daughter and her partner. The welcome was perfect, the staff very pleasant and smiling. The dishes were generous and delicious. We will gladly return. A big thank you to the entire team (service and kitchen), we had a wonderful time.

Very friendly welcome. Excellent value for money. I ordered a Landes salad as a main course, but I couldn't even finish it, which is a shame. However, you can take away any leftovers. I couldn't, as I was attending a wedding the next day. I recommend this place. I will gladly return.

A very warm welcome and a delicious meal. We enjoyed squid and duck hearts to share, and were lucky enough to find an exceptional selection of Kobe beef. 😋 Special mention to the attentive waiters. Another very welcome touch was the extra attention given to the ladies in the restrooms. 👏 Thank you for this lovely experience; we will be back, and this time we'll save room for the crème brûlée.

We came this evening to celebrate our 5th anniversary together, and we had a wonderful time at Le Canard Royal ✨ The food was truly excellent from start to finish, with generous and beautifully prepared dishes. But beyond the meal, we especially loved the welcome: a warm, smiling, and genuinely pleasant team of servers. We were able to chat with them a bit at the end of our meal in a very friendly atmosphere, which made the evening even more special. A special mention also goes to the small glass of Armagnac offered at the end of the meal, a very much appreciated touch 😊 And a little inside joke: we found the restaurant thanks to ChatGPT… which gave them a good laugh 😄 In any case, thank you again for this lovely evening, we will gladly return!
