Starter: We ordered the foie gras and it was, without exaggeration, the best we've ever had.
Main course: The Canard Rossini is a must-order, a true marvel of flavor and texture.
Grilled meat: The meat was perfect, but the potatoes, served as tartare, were simply amazing.
Dessert: The crème brûlée was excellent and the perfect ending to the meal.
The quality of the food and the service make for a perfect 10/10 experience. We'll definitely be back!

Honestly, we went to this restaurant with a friend to see what it was like because we love meat and duck. We weren't disappointed; the portions were really generous, the meat was delicious, and the duck was excellent (yes, we each ordered two dishes because we're big eaters 😅).
And honestly, for four of us, with a bottle of wine and two beers each as an aperitif, along with a charcuterie and cheese platter, we paid the equivalent of €50 per person. For the experience and the quality, it's fantastic value for money.
The manager is very friendly and accommodating, and the young waitress and waiter are very kind, polite, and attentive. We highly recommend it!

Excellent experience at Le Canard Royal! I enjoyed a matured duck that was simply delicious: tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The flavors were spot on, and the quality of the ingredients was evident from the first bite. The service was pleasant, and the atmosphere was warm. A truly wonderful place that I recommend to all duck lovers. I will gladly return!

What a treat at Le Canard Royal! The quality is undeniable: top-notch ingredients, exquisite dishes, and truly perfect cooking. The duck hearts are divine—tender and perfectly seasoned. It has that unpretentious, friendly atmosphere we love—simple and generous. The staff is welcoming and warm; you immediately feel at ease. Excellent! My Chateaubriand Rossini was perfect.
We also had four beautiful rib-eye steaks and a steak tartare that was equally perfect, and the dessert was just as good.

We had a wonderful time at Le Canard Royal in Pau. The dishes are truly homemade, and this is evident in both the quality and the flavors.
