We had a lovely evening. The host was welcoming and the waiter very friendly. The Valentine's Day menu was fantastic, with a gift for all couples. We'll definitely be back.

Authentic setting! Just like the owner and the food! A delight, both for the wonderful time we spent as a family and for the exquisite meal! The waiter was also top-notch! A big thank you to the chef as well! We've already booked for the fried food on the terrace in June! A quick note from my son Léon: the fish and the gratin were amazing!
PS: The after-dinner drinks were fantastic too!

As luck would have it, we stumbled upon Le Caveau in Verdun. Robert's warm welcome and attentive service immediately set the tone for this unique and charming place. With his humor, kindness, and genuine care for his customers, we had a truly delightful time. As for the food, his passion for his craft and his desire to share his love of the craft were evident. The frog legs were excellent and juicy, the pike-perch fillet perfectly cooked, and the side dishes generous and flavorful. We'll definitely be back, this time with our group of friends, to enjoy this place again and share it with others. A big thank you to Robert!

Absolute Gem hidden close to confluence of Doubs and Saone rivers and making an iconic four fish pochouse stew. Robert is a fantastic host. The restaurant is full of historical memorabilia including war years. And complements to the chef for modifying some dishes for food allergies. Great food and great night. Thank you.

The food was absolutely delicious. The pike-perch and pochouse were extraordinary, as was the starter. Highly recommended, and the atmosphere was very funny. Everything was perfect.
