Tucked away in the old city of Carcassonne. A very delicious meal, albeit a bit small portions (though that might just be me). We had canelloni with foie gras, followed by a super tasty steak with pepper sauce. The desserts were also delicious. We had the friendly service choose our wine, and it was absolutely perfect.

I came on the evening of February 8th, having read the very positive reviews. I received an exceptionally warm welcome. The menu was excellent; everything was cooked and presented perfectly, all in a cozy atmosphere with tasteful decor. I highly recommend it. C. J.

We had cassoulet, and it was delicious. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly. It was a pleasant experience and the price was right. Everything was perfect, highly recommended.

Very nice and delicious food, good value for money on both the set menus and individual dishes. The cassoulet was a complete meal, not just with duck leg; it included sausage, duck leg, bacon, and pork rind. A minor drawback was the expensive drinks (twice as expensive as back home in tourist areas), especially the digestifs. The service was quite slow, even though it wasn't peak season; luckily, we weren't in a hurry. We still had a very good time. :)

Absolutely fantastic. The staff was efficient and friendly. The cassoulet was outstanding. Pavlova dessert was delicious. It was also a very good value. Gets busy so best to make a reservation.

Excellent meal. Warm welcome and helpful wine recommendations. A minor point about the dessert (Pavlova): too much whipped cream for too little meringue and pears… the proportions could perhaps be improved 😉

09/07/2025: Spectacular!!! This walled city is a marvel, it was worth the trip.
09/07/2025: We only visited the free area because the price was €19. I think it's very expensive compared to other major monuments in Spain. What we saw caught our attention: the castle with battlements, busy streets with tourists, and a lively atmosphere. You can easily visit it in a day, eating inside and taking home a souvenir.
