Le Comptoir des Saveurs sur Le Puy-En-Velay

A true delight. We opted for the tasting menu and thoroughly enjoyed it. Everything was delicious and refined. You can taste the chef's passion in every dish. The service was impeccable; the dishes were explained to us, and the waitress was very pleasant. Wine lovers will find some excellent vintages. I will gladly return.

A wonderful Valentine's Day experience at Comptoir des Saveurs in Le Puy-en-Velay. A warm welcome, a pleasant atmosphere, and delicious dishes, beautifully presented and prepared with care. We had a fantastic time. Highly recommended!

The food was delicious, the portions were generous and beautifully presented, we received a very warm welcome, and the prices were very reasonable. We would definitely go back.

The welcome was warm and friendly. However, the promise of refined cuisine was not fulfilled. I was disappointed, as I had heard good things, by a poorly seasoned dish. When you have a set menu at 32 or 37 euros, you try to offer decent bread, not a poor, defrosted white baguette.

An excellent choice for those who enjoy good food without breaking the bank. The dishes are flavorful and generous, but be sure to save room for dessert: they are simply divine and homemade! It's rare to find such quality at this price. I highly recommend this place.

A warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food is very well prepared. Attention to detail is evident in every dish, from the presentation to the cooking and seasoning. The owners took over the establishment in 2022. The dining room, while clean, is somewhat dated and doesn't quite reflect the quality of the food. The prices are commensurate with the quality of the dishes. A great place to know about in the hills above Le Puy-en-Velay (the restaurant is not in the city center). I highly recommend it.
