Le Comptoir du Palais sur Annecy

EXCELLENT in every way!!! The menu was limited, but the quality and freshness were extraordinary. The service was impeccable, efficient, professional, and lovely, even during the busy Lake Festival. We will be back.

We randomly chose a restaurant. A man at the entrance looked us up and down and said we needed to make a reservation. The restaurant was completely empty; there was only one other person dining.

Even undermanned, the place did not disappoint. Expect modern fusion food to share paired with strong bread game to dip into the variety of dishes. The hummus was our winner that night and we need to try more from the menu soon.

A very nice establishment, a superb, warm, and very kind welcome. The sea bass with lemon sauce is a must-try; it's excellent.

I visited on the evening of my first day and had the dinner menu, and it was so incredibly delicious that I visited again the next day for lunch. The owner is very friendly and speaks excellent English. On the dinner menu, the tomato dish topped with burrata cheese was tasty, and on the lunch menu, the gravlax and gochujang ceviche were truly amazing. If I had stayed in Annecy longer, I would have loved to try every item on the menu. Just keep in mind that the dinner menu features more appetizers than main meals! And make sure to try the dessert. It is seriously delicious.

A very successful first experience. Simple dishes, but perfectly seasoned. No room for boredom on any plate. I will be back.

Excellent food and service. I would only suggest adding air conditioning for the summer. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal, but a bit less heat would have been perfect.

The cream of the crop for discerning palates (and nothing to do with the courthouse). The team is simply top-notch, the food equally so, and the location incredibly perfect with its beautiful sunny terrace! A business expertly run by two equally friendly young ladies, in short, everything is fantastic, hats off to the team! Go for it!
