This dinner was a gift from my students as a thank you.
We had a wonderful time.
An exceptional culinary experience that I wanted to share.
The tasting menu consisted of six courses, including an aperitif, and each course was paired with a glass of wine, all organic and perfectly complementing the dishes.
The menu began with a consommé made with mascarpone and sherry vinegar, served with pickled mushrooms.
This was followed by homemade foie gras with a tuile and flavorful condiments.
Next came a perfectly cooked sea bass, leading to a dish of pink duck breast.
These were accompanied by green asparagus and a carrot cooked with honey and vanilla.
The taste of that carrot will remain etched in my memory.
Fingers of Reblochon cheese wrapped in filo pastry with a Reblochon emulsion preceded the meal, before finishing with a delicate chocolate dessert accompanied by a quenelle of tarragon, parsley, and wild garlic ice cream.
The welcome was warm and unpretentious.
We simply loved it.
The food and all the staff.

It's great to work with fresh ingredients, but think about the people who come regularly and whose menu never changes! It's a shame, word of mouth spreads fast in the Thones valley!

An exceptional gastronomic experience in the heart of Le Grand-Bornand!
We spent a truly timeless moment at Les Confins des Sens. The cuisine is exquisitely refined, showcasing local produce with incredible creativity (special mention for the precise cooking and the perfect balance of flavors).
The welcome is warm and the service impeccable: professional, with excellent wine pairing recommendations. The chalet setting adds a touch of Savoyard authenticity, making the meal even more enjoyable.
For me, it's the best restaurant in the Aravis region. The Bib Gourmand is richly deserved, and the value for money is unbeatable for such a high-quality experience. Its success is well-deserved!

Fantastic experience! A warm and inviting place. You absolutely must go, it's worth it! Between the foie gras soup, the perfectly balanced dishes, and the desserts that were both fresh and indulgent, we had an unforgettable evening. And all at more than reasonable prices considering the quality of the food. Excellent, friendly, and efficient service, fresh ingredients, delicate combinations, and good wines. Thank you again!

This is our second lunch here, and the experience is always excellent, beautifully presented, and sometimes offers delightful surprises for the senses. Congratulations to the kitchen team for maintaining such high standards of expertise. Special mention also goes to the service, which was always perfectly timed while remaining discreet and unassuming. It's hard to find a restaurant in the area with such excellent value for money.
