A true local pub, a classic spot opposite the Louvre-Lens! Definitely a Lens institution and a great find for lunch! My carbonnade was absolutely delicious, and the fries were definitely my favorites during my stay in the region! I also really appreciate that the restaurant offers a wide variety of Northern French specialties available for purchase at the register! The waffles were very good, and I recommend trying the beer brewed on-site—a real treat for beer lovers! In short, an absolute delight, and I can't wait to go back! Thank you also for your warm welcome and your much-appreciated friendliness!

Okay, you should definitely book, especially on match days. Otherwise, you'll be waiting at the entrance. We had a good carbonnade and fries, but I've had better. The starter for two was excellent and plentiful.

Excellent value for money and a lovely northern French atmosphere, complete with homemade fries, carbonnade, and potchewelch (hard to spell, hard to pronounce... but so delicious). We had lunch at this little bistro with my association between visits to the Louvre-Lens (which is really close by). Personally, I really enjoyed the friendly and cheerful atmosphere of the restaurant, and of course, the perfectly cooked carbonnade and fries. The service was excellent; the group was surprised to be greeted and served at the beginning by a young man who looked every bit the part of a future waiter! Keep up the good work! There's a good chance we'll be back!
