Small restaurant typical of old estaminets. Warm atmosphere of candles in table lighting. Friendly staff and above all a huge variety of extra dishes from North Flemish. Recommended but above all you need to book. Parking lots nearby and close to the train station.

Great welcome, top service and the meal...a delight! All in an ultra warm and old-fashioned setting! I recommend :)

Generosity of all the staff in the room, smiling and warm welcome. Worth mentioning because it warms the heart. The dishes are regional and homemade such as gratin dauphinois or old-fashioned fries. 300g blue entrecôte (€26): perfectly cooked with maroilles sauce, not too strong, 3 gray shrimp croquettes like in Ostend: breading not too thick, good taste of potatoes and shrimp (€19.50). Coffee served in a coffee maker at the table, very pleasant. We were seduced by the charm of this house with furniture from the past, still with the old stove and all the objects of yesteryear... candles everywhere creating a very warm atmosphere. In this city of Lens which is suffering so much socio-economically, this restaurant is the symbol of a positive and enterprising spirit.
