Le Derby sur Lens

A great find during a visit to the Louvre-Lens. The potjevleesch was presented in an unusual way (softer than usual). The locally brewed beer was very pleasant (Cœur de Braise IPA during the meal). Reasonable prices.

Good evening, We wanted to extend our sincere thanks to this couple who own a restaurant. They were 100% dedicated, professional, kind, and attentive. We were able to organize our daughter's surprise 18th birthday party at this brasserie with all our family and friends (approximately 45 guests, including children). Thank you for your availability, responsiveness, and overall organization. All the appetizers, main courses, birthday cakes, and drinks were thoroughly enjoyed...not to mention the craft beers and lemonades that delighted the connoisseurs! The children were able to fully enjoy the beautiful outdoor space. We also particularly appreciated the opportunity to take our time and enjoy the moment without any pressure. The waitstaff is lovely. Honestly, if you're planning an event...don't hesitate, this is a place to remember. Thank you...thank you for making this day a success. We look forward to returning.

🌱 A vegetarian option is available. 🗓️ Open on Sundays. This restaurant/brasserie has a great atmosphere. The service was pleasant, friendly, and quick. We were seated on the sunny terrace, which was lovely. The vegetarian steak was a little bland, but everything else was delicious. A truly excellent choice if you're visiting the Louvre-Lens museum.

You must try their Flemish carbonnade, it's delicious. Very reasonable price.

A really lovely little pub where we enjoyed generous and delicious local specialties. We also appreciated their selection of beers and left with a few bottles to keep the fun going back to Normandy. Thank you for your hospitality.

A true local pub, a classic spot opposite the Louvre-Lens! Definitely a Lens institution and a great find for lunch! My carbonnade was absolutely delicious, and the fries were definitely my favorites during my stay in the region! I also really appreciate that the restaurant offers a wide variety of Northern French specialties available for purchase at the register! The waffles were very good, and I recommend trying the beer brewed on-site—a real treat for beer lovers! In short, an absolute delight, and I can't wait to go back! Thank you also for your warm welcome and your much-appreciated friendliness!
