We visited twice during our stay in St Paul en forêt. Amazing personell in a lovely scenic environment! Plates are prepared to perfection and taste extraordinary. Please do visit this restaurant when you are in the neighborhood. Even if you are not in the neighborhood, it's definitely worth to drive some extra miles! Merci beaucoup le France restaurant!

We ate at this restaurant twice in one week. Both times the food was delicious and expertly prepared, accompanied by excellent, attentive service. We'd gladly return. Reservations recommended.

I was taken out to dinner here, and enjoyed a lovely meal on the terrasse. We had the 3 course formule at 45€. Traditional Mediterranean cuisine. I had a complimentary gazpacho, followed by 'vitello tunato' with a goat's cheese crumble. Then fish of the day, John Dory, with butter sauce, creamy risotto and broccoli. As I felt I hadn't consumed quite enough calories I rounded off the evening with a delicious crème brûlée. Yum! They serve 0% 1664, ideal for non drinkers. Dogs allowed. Parking is just round the corner in the main village car park.

What a magnificent lunch for my birthday! From the moment I made the reservation with the friendly waiter, I already knew it was going to be unforgettable. The service was very attentive, the menu selection was superb, the ingredients were fresh and so well prepared, and the service was top-notch right to the end... please don't change a thing! We will gladly return very soon.

19/09/2026: A lovely time at La Farandole. I had the wood-fired cooked salmon with mixed vegetables. It was delicious.
18/09/2026: Well, as there English and my French left a lot to be desired. Together we worked it out. The food was amazing. And would eat here again with a doubt. Very friendly

29/07/2026: Went for dinner at Moulin de la Camandoule and it was one of the best meals of the trip! The pricing was very reasonable, we did the 50€ 3 course dinner and it did not disappoint. The best dish by far was the braised beef, it just melts in your mouth. The duck was also quite good. You get a beautiful view of Fayence since this is at the bottom of the town and if you’re travelling in the summer, 7pm - 8pm is a great time for your reservation because you’ll get to see the sunset on the town of Fayence which is very nice.
24/06/2026: We had the most wonderful experience at the Moulin de la Camandoule. The setting is absolutely magical; one of those rare places where the food, the setting and the entire team come together perfectly. Every dish full of authentic flavours and the team very attentive, professional, warm and genuinely passionate about their job. A true gem in the Pays de Fayence that we will gladly return to. We wholeheartedly recommend! Thank you, Dominique and your entire team!
