If you're passing through Beaune, don't miss the opportunity to stop by this place that takes pork to its highest levels. The menu is apparently rustic but with attention to every detail and the cellar is very refined. You are welcomed into an environment reminiscent of the Middle Ages but what counts is the cuisine and the friendliness of the chef who personally welcomes each diner.

Excellent resto atypique. Les patrons comme au temps de jacquouille et dame Guenievre avec la déco qui suit. Tous les plats à 27.00€ , pour ceux qui aiment le porc, le jambonneau, le jésus, les saucisses etc... sinon passez votre chemin. Viande excellente. Le service parfait La gentillesse des patrons. A recommander. Les avis négatifs passez votre chemin, il en faut pour tous les goûts. C'est complet il faut réserver absolument.

We know why we come and we are not disappointed. 100% vegetarian meal of unequaled lightness. The service is very friendly, the concept of collecting the bottles from the cellar yourself is cool, we leave with a full stomach... What more could you ask for? Dish at 27 euros, more than sufficient, which is completed with an excellent Burgundy.

15/09/2024: Attracted by the super reviews, we had an enjoyable if somewhat expensive dinner. We had made a reservation and were pleased to be seated in the cellar, which was not guaranteed. There isnt a wine list but a "Bible"and we were happy to be guided through it by a member of the team. The wines are as eye wateringly expensive as you would expect in a fine dining restaurant. This review should have been 5* but the fish main course was really an incredibly small piece of sea bass and it was hard to find the figs in the fig tart. By contrast the beef cheek was a huge portion. The highlight of our meal was being guided through the cheeseboard to understand the provenance of the local cheeses and the right order in which to eat them to enjoy their flavours to the full.
