Thank you for this evening!!! Excellent meal!! Great ingredients, we ate incredibly well!! From the main course to dessert. Top-notch service, the "kitten" (our cat) delighted us 😂 we were in stitches! Truly amazing staff, the chef was so friendly. Signed, the naughty one 😉

Warm welcome but the food was terrible. The burger had a stale bun and undercooked meat (I didn't ask how I wanted it cooked when I ordered), and it came with boiled potatoes! The lasagna with eggs and peas was awful, and the warm goat cheese salad was just okay. All for a price that was way too high!

A really great meal. The only place that accepts holiday vouchers. A warm welcome and a generous portion—not a tiny one, just the right amount. I recommend it.

08/09/2026: Good evening, I wanted to share a quick review of the Cabane Étang restaurant in Chamonix. I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere, especially by Aurélie at the bar who was always smiling and provided exceptional service to her customers. My meal was very enjoyable, thank you.

Le Refuge Payot

10/09/2026: A paradise of cheese, charcuterie, and gourmet products. Incredible. We had the cheese and wine platter outside, which was absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend it.
31/08/2026: A huge selection and good quality products. However, there are too many items available for tasting, which prevents people from browsing because they seem to be there more to eat than to buy, and this detracts from the overall experience. Just a thought, of course.
