Small, hidden restaurant with good cuisine and an interesting wine list. Relies on local products and specialties. The snail and lentil soup is particularly worth mentioning here.
The souffle is unbeatable.
Tip: Café Gourmand comes with a mini version of the soufflé, for those who don't dare to try the full desert.
Having tried several restaurants, Le Gustalin reconciled me with the local restaurants. A real restaurant which works with local products and above all which makes homemade dishes. From starter to dessert, it was perfect. The prices are justified and it doesn't hurt to pay the bill. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Good morning,
While passing through Dole, we stopped at Le Gustalin following some research on the internet. We were very lucky, we hadn't booked and two places on the terrace were available! We had a really great time! Thanks to the lady who I think is the owner for her very pleasant service, the excellent cuisine, the price nothing to say. Despite all this positive, we would have one negative point: the mockery suffered by my friend by the first waiter who seated us, she did not know the difference between a vin de paille and a vin jaune (we are not from the region), he allowed himself a mockery which we distinctly heard given that the restaurant door was open, that the terrace was empty at that time and that the latter was very close by....
Thanks anyway.
Our family of eight had a very nice evening at this French restourant.
Service, food and wine were very good with a number of regional specialities. The English speaking owner helped us with the wine selection which helped a lot.
Prices were very reasonable - advanced booking recommended due to the limited number of tables.
Worth a visit when in Dole.
