Le Jardin de l'Escargot sur Carcassonne

Not in the main drag so less atmosphere and view but this place did not disappoint. We both had the set menus, one at 19 euros and one at 29euros and both were really good quality food. You get the feeling that the staff really know their products and take pride in what they serve. Excellent dinner and good value. Bill came to 70 euros for 2 with drinks (beer and wine). Would recommend

We had a great time in this little restaurant with friends in a super nice setting.

Relatively high prices for quality that is not there. Considering the prices we expect better. Damage.

We asked at L'escargot if they had a table and when they didn't, they showed us to this terrace which is owned by the same owners as the previous one. We had tapas, escargots, cheese platter, Ratatouille and foei for dinner, everything was delicious, we had dinner in a very well decorated garden, very friendly service, they served us in Spanish, highly recommended place, very good value for money too

When we arrived late on a Sunday evening in Carcassonne and knocked on the door of "l'Escargot", which was full, the waitress lugged us 2 streets further, we could legitimately expect to land in a cut-throat . Fortunately, quite the opposite happened. We had an excellent evening at the Jardin de l'Escargot. The atmosphere was very good, the welcome friendly and sincere. The menu lived up to our expectations for a reasonable price. The staff patiently waited for us to finish the excellent wines (special mention to the mighty "Forge") and gave us ample notice of the closing time, without ever making us feel rushed. Thank you for this great time.

Good morning, We were made very welcome, even with our little doggie and our two kittens. Pleasant atmosphere. Very good food. The gazpacho is super refreshing, the foie gras very good. We had the beef skewer. Impeccable cooking and good meat. (👏👏 to the chef) Side dish, nice, vegetables and potatoes (a change from fries 😅). And the children were not left out. THANKS!

The setting, the service, the welcome, the foie gras, the snails everything was great..... just a small downside on the dessert... the choux pastry of the profiteroles was not great but you can see the size from the kitchen it’s understandable 😅

Great place with great food selection. Anything and everything we ordered was super tasty. The food was great and so was the service. The only gripe I'd have would be that they didn't have some of the wines on their list, but they had just updated their wine list and some of it hadn't arrived yet.

Accueil chaleureux, cuisine savoureuse, viande tendre et cuisson parfaite, produits frais. Dogfriendly et parlent aussi anglais (avec l'accent c'est charmant). Ils valent le détour.
