We had lunch at Jardin des Consuls today, and all four of us were delighted.
A tip… go for the Consuls' Menu at €34.90… The foie gras starter and the cassoulet are both delicious and generous portions, and the panna cotta with plant-based cream for dessert is a real treat!
We started our meal in the courtyard, but as the sun wasn't yet strong or very warm, our waiter Coco (the lovely Coco ;-)) suggested we finish our meal on their street terrace, and it was perfect! We highly recommend it!

A truly wonderful experience at Jardin des Consuls!
The setting is absolutely stunning, with a beautifully landscaped outdoor courtyard and a lovely view of the ruins. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with blankets even available, which is a very nice touch.
We were particularly touched by the welcome our dog, Bucky, received: everyone was so kind to him, providing a fresh water bowl and other thoughtful touches… it's truly a very dog-friendly place, and that was wonderful!
The service was quick, the food delicious and generous, and we have absolutely no complaints. A huge thank you to Coco, Serena, and Maé for their kindness and professionalism.
We highly recommend it!

Thank you to Coco for her advice, kindness, and good humor!
A few suggestions regarding the dishes: the duck confit was a little dry, the carrot purée was excellent but cold (a shame), and the walnut cake was dry.
Nevertheless, everything was delicious and beautifully presented!
