Le Jardin des Consuls sur Sarlat-La-Caneda

A wonderful time at Le Jardin des Consuls! We dined at this restaurant during our last stay in Sarlat in September, and we received a very warm welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and the service was attentive throughout. A special mention goes to JC, our waiter, who took care of us from beginning to end. He was exceptional and made our stay a truly memorable experience. A huge thank you to him! We highly recommend this restaurant. Thanks to JC, we will cherish the memory of our last day in Sarlat and of Le Jardin des Consuls.

We ate in the small courtyard at the back of the restaurant, which was very pleasant and charming. The menu was very good, with elegant presentation. A special mention for the waitresses, Serena and Jena, who were very friendly and helpful. A wonderful time spent as a family with our baby!

The Salardaise platter is very good and the welcome is very warm.

The quality of the food is simply exceptional! It had been a long time since I'd eaten such a delicious duck breast, accompanied by a perfectly cooked porcini mushroom cream sauce—a true delight for the taste buds! And what can I say about the chocolate fondant… Absolutely perfect cooking, with a gooey center just the way we like it! 🍫 A huge thank you also to the waitress who took care of us; she was incredibly kind, always smiling, and very pleasant. Her service truly contributed to making this moment even more enjoyable! All this in a magnificent setting, with a superb terrace where it's lovely to relax and enjoy an excellent meal. ☀️ I wholeheartedly recommend this place! From the quality of the food to the warm welcome and the ambiance, everything came together to create a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back! 👏

We ordered the Salardaise, which turned out to be tasty and generous in a very beautiful setting.

We received a very warm welcome with our three dogs; the service was impeccable. Thank you to JC and the two waitresses; a very pleasant evening worth discovering. The menu was reasonably priced. Visited during the third week of September.

A very warm welcome. We ate in the courtyard, a lovely spot steeped in history. The food was delicious, served quickly, by a dynamic and humorous team. Kudos to JC for his professionalism. I highly recommend it.

A wonderful discovery in Sarlat! 😊 As soon as you step through the door of Les Jardins du Consul, you'll discover a charming little courtyard, a peaceful haven away from the hustle and bustle of Sarlat… A truly delightful place where you can take your time and enjoy yourself. 🌿 On the plate, there's no disappointment: flavorful and generous dishes, with a special mention for the cassoulet, which was absolutely excellent! 😋 And a big thank you to the team! Especially JC and Serena, professional, smiling, warm, and attentive waiters, with that touch of good humor that makes the meal even more enjoyable. Add to that a very reasonable price-quality ratio, and you have a place you leave with a smile… and the desire to return! 😉 A delightful culinary interlude that we wholeheartedly recommend! ❤️
