We spent a pleasant evening away from intra muros! The food is good and the servers very friendly. We discovered the restaurant by chance and we are very happy with it. We recommend! The desserts are very delicious.

An excellent experience from every point of view: rich and delicious cuisine, a colorful manager, all in a charming decor. The former trainer sends his compliments to young Lucas for his work and his involvement. Looking forward to coming back to follow its progress, as well as coming back to eat at your table. Very good service, very warm welcome despite the lack of reservation (yes you have to reserve, especially in season), the chef's wife is very friendly and welcoming. The dish was very good. I recommend the 3 fish sauerkraut!

Délicieuses moules et très bon burger. Nous avons bien mangé et la patronne nous a accueillis très chaleureusement. Les saumons fumé et gravlax sont délicieux et faits maison. Très contents d’avoir été manger là durant notre séjour à saint Malo!

Nous avons déjeuné en famille dans ce restaurant, le repas était excellent avec une carte variée. La patronne a été très sympathique, et nous a fourni une chaise haute pour ma petite fille. Et j'ai eu la surprise de la bougie d'anniversaire accompagnée de sa musique. Merci ! Alors n'hésitez pas, sortez de la cité intra-muros et venez au Kidygwen.

27/07/2024: Simply brilliant, in every way. The quality of the dishes offered, the freshness, the homemade, the taste! You have everything... The setting, friendly. Then above all the kindness of the staff, who take care of you and know how to recommend the best wine with the chosen dish. In short, I recommend!
21/07/2024: It's not easy in St Malo, especially here on the city walls, to find a restaurant away from tourist food. The Fidelis is a pleasant exception here. If you're looking for visually appealing dishes, you've come to the right place. We chose a menu and were not disappointed. Plus attractive wines and good service. We can recommend Fidelis to anyone who wants to eat well.

Le Bistro de Jean

31/08/2024: In a quiet little street, pleasant surroundings, warm welcome, really very fine and delicious cuisine. A real pleasure for the taste buds. I highly recommend this address.
29/08/2024: An incredible experience. Probably the tastiest dessert I have ever had (the apricot crumble). Everything they did was excellently done. €71 for two mains, two drinks, a coffee, and a dessert. Very reasonable. 10/10 We will come back if we hopefully return to the local area again.
