Lunch with the excellent tasting menu, from the amuse-bouche to the dessert, not forgetting the violet marshmallow that accompanies the coffee. Impeccable and friendly service. I highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful evening at the Lion d'Or. Pascale was incredibly kind and kept us pleasantly entertained throughout our meal. The two young waiters were also very friendly, although a little more reserved. As for the food, it was delicious. The chef truly delighted us. I highly recommend this restaurant!

A truly beautiful restaurant, with cuisine that lives up to its setting. The service is particularly pleasant, attentive, and warm. Special mention goes to the location on the banks of the Loire, which offers a magnificent backdrop.
A little tip: try to time your reservation around sunset. This way, you can enjoy the last rays of light while admiring the Loire as you leave the restaurant or, perhaps, while you're dining. An experience that adds an extra touch of magic to your meal!

We walked past, unsure whether to go in, wondering if the food might be too much for us.
I'm so glad we did.
It's the first time I've experienced so many flavors and textures in a single dish, all perfectly harmonized, like a symphony. I usually find something wrong with the food... but not this time. It's true the portions aren't huge, but the menu left me completely satisfied.
The waitress was very friendly. Everything was cooked to perfection, and the wine was excellent. I'm absolutely certain that if I'm ever back in the area, I'll eat here again. I highly recommend trying it.

While on holiday in Amboise, we stopped at this restaurant.
What a pleasant surprise! Refined and original cuisine with excellent service, all at a reasonable price.

Don't even know where to start, amazing! Food exquisite in any way is possible describe it. You can tell that is a hight level restaurant only how the food is served. An excellent presentation and taste way above any other experience I had. Food at is best! Service was extremely professional yet leaving space for friendliness. Happy to explain what in the plate and always present without being"on your shoulder". Proud to offer the local specialities. Thank you for everything, you enriched our trip as tourists giving an amazing culinary experience

A very good restaurant located at the foot of Amboise Castle. Excellent cuisine with a warm welcome and service. The tasting menu was a wonderful discovery, with incredibly tasty dishes and a very good assortment of flavors. I highly recommend it.
